Favicon from text: a letter or initials in SVG
A single-letter favicon is a fast, clean option for personal sites and small brands. The key is to prepare the SVG correctly so the font doesn’t break.
Rule #1: convert text to outlines
If you keep live text, the target system may not have the font and the letter can render differently. Fix: Convert to Outlines / Create Outlines.

- Keep it simple: 1 character is better than 2–3
- Make strokes thicker than in the logo version
- Leave padding around the letter
